The Proof of Concept phase is the first crucial step in our development process, where we dive deep into the needs and goals of the client company to introduce customized IoT solutions. During this phase, we engage in an in-depth analysis of the specific needs of the client, exploring the specific challenges of the sector in which they intend to apply IoT.
The deep dive includes detailed research into IoT products already on the market, including those offered by competitors. We carefully examine existing solutions to identify strengths, weaknesses, and innovative approaches adopted by industry players. This allows us to gain a comprehensive view of the landscape and inform our design decisions.
In parallel, we conduct a competitive analysis to understand how rival companies address industry-specific challenges. This survey provides us with a broad perspective on the solutions currently adopted and the strategic choices made by competitors.
During the PoC phase, we clearly define the goals of the IoT product and identify potential improvements or additional features that can be implemented to create added value. This goal-setting process helps us to outline a clear roadmap and establish the basis for further development.
Furthermore, we conduct preliminary tests on IoT devices that are similar or comparable to the ones requested, concretely experimenting with technologies available on the market. This hands-on phase allows us to become familiar with the methods of data acquisition, analysis and management, providing us with first-hand experience that will be invaluable in subsequent development phases.
The outcome of this phase is a detailed and informative document that will serve as a guide during the actual development process, incorporating the information gathered, the defined objectives and the strategic design choices that will guide us in the development path of the customized IoT product.
